Sell your aluminium for the best local price
Tell us what you have and where you are. We offer your load to licensed dealers near you without your contact details. The first one that wants it gets them and contacts you direct — so you drive once, not three times.

Tell us what you have
Metal type, rough weight and your postcode. A grade helps but isn’t required.
- 02
We offer it to licensed yards
Up to three dealers near you, licensed under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, see the load but not your details.
- 03
They quote, you sell
The dealer calls or emails you with a price per kg. You agree it with them direct, then deliver or arrange collection and get paid by bank transfer.

Takes about a minute. No obligation to sell.
Why use us instead of ringing round?
Yard prices for the same grade can differ by 20% or more across a single city, and most dealers don’t publish what they pay. We track published prices from UK yards every day, so we know which dealers near you are paying well for aluminium right now — and which ones buy from the public at all.
- Licensed only. Every dealer we work with holds a current site or collector’s licence.
- Up to three dealers, not a list. Your details go to at most three licensed dealers we work with, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
- Know the number first. You get our indicative estimate before anyone calls, so you can judge the offer.
What we don’t do. We introduce sellers to licensed dealers. We do not buy, sell, collect, transport or handle scrap metal, we do not negotiate on your behalf, and we are not party to any sale you agree. Price, collection and payment are between you and the dealer. Introductions are free for dealers until 31 January 2027; after that dealers may pay us a flat fee for one. You never pay us anything.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this free?
Yes. Requesting quotes is free and there is no obligation to sell. You never pay us anything. Introductions are free for dealers until 31 January 2027; after that dealers may pay us a flat fee for one.
Who will contact me?
A licensed scrap metal dealer near your postcode — they contact you directly, and the sale is between you and them. We offer your request to up to three dealers licensed under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 without your contact details, and give your details only to the one that takes it. Never a list.
How quickly will I hear back?
Within one working day, either a dealer contacts you or we email you the dealers nearest to you so you can ring them yourself.
Do I need to know the exact grade or weight?
No. A rough weight and a short description ("old boiler and some pipe") is enough. The dealer grades and weighs it on site — that weigh-in sets the final price, not our estimate.
Can I be paid in cash?
No. In England and Wales it is illegal for scrap metal dealers to pay cash. You will be paid by bank transfer or cheque and asked for photo ID and proof of address.
Do you collect?
Many dealers collect larger loads — tick "I need it collected" and dealers see that before they decide whether to take it. Small household loads are usually better delivered to the yard.
