Why a whole car is not on this list

A complete vehicle has to go through an Authorised Treatment Facility, which issues the DVLA Certificate of Destruction and prices the car by the tonne. That is a different trade from the yard that buys your copper. The parts that come off a car before it gets there are on the car parts page.
